Wind was blowing Saturday, with gusts up to 35 mph, but we gutted it out and posted a couple new pond records in the process in addition to several SMB, HBCP, WE [up to 18"] and YP!

This fish measured 11.25", and I'm calling it a GRES hybrid. The margin on the opercular tab was very faint/nonexistent, and gape was very large. Added second photo below, sorry for the shadows. Pectoral nor caudal fins were very yellow, but still believe this a GRES hybrid. These fish were originally stocked in 2010 accidentally [ID originally as RES] at around 6".




This fish measured 11.25" also, and shares a lot of characteristics with the first fish. I'm also calling this a GRES hybrid - note the bright yellow pelvic and anal fins, faint margin on opercular tab, and very large gape. Added a couple more photos below allowing a little better perspective.




Last fish went 11" and my call is a female RES - several differences between this pure RES and the fish above. Was very excited to see her! All fish taken on teardrop waxie combo.
