Yes I like being proven wrong; that way I learn something. Still a lot to learn about raising YP. Since you are mow 'obsessed' with females and don't have males anymore you are forgetting what the fatty males will look like. Just kidding. I know you still have a few males for fertilizing YP eggs. Look for my email of a 14" YP collected on Jan 8th 2014. Actually the YP was 13 5/8". I let the guy keep a 14'er since he was having a hard time catching enough fish from the harvesting slot limit of 8"-12". The guy seined me some bluntnose minnows the previous summer and I let him have a few YP as appreciation.
No worries Bill. I guess one could say I am obsessed with producing the big females.
