I have flown many model planes over the years and I know a lot of guys who are really good at it. I think that even some of the best would never be able to accurately tell when they were over the things you wanted pictures of or whether the pitch and tilt of the plane were correct to get a picture of what you wanted. IMO this would be fun but definitely would require great skill and patience.
