A few years back, I was going to get a swim platform which is basically a pontoon boat with a flat deck only. I figured I would anchor it somewhere, but also thought I would hook a trolling motor to it and use it to fish from.
I never got around to getting it, but I still like the idea.
Jeff, your pond is really big, so I think it would be good as long as you had the simple jon-boat for ez-on-ez-off boating when solo.
