Thanks all. This is 72 of them. And Brian is almost right right. I spent the last couple of days hunting but not in a blind. We are seeing no deer. Four of us hunted 2.5 days without anybody seeing one. The other guys sat still and watched. I personally decided to spent the time prowling up and down my hills to see if I could figure out where I might even see one.
Nada!
We have had a huge acorn drop and the deer don't have to move to eat. Since the rut is on, I guess they all decided to just stay home. I heard only 1 shot during that time.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Sorry no deer, but happy birthday Dave. At least you have the good health to be able to move about and hunt deer at that age. I will feel blessed if I am able to do that if/when I get there. I'm only 60 but don't feel a day over 80.

I hope you're wishing you could take the same ride all over again with only a few minor changes. Yeah, I know you're still riding but I'll bet that the horses don't prance like they used to.
