Check out this link http://www.mdwfp.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=415 I would also add if you have enough good clay to cover the bottom that is the way to go. The only time I would use bentonite is if I had a leak and was trying to fix it. If you have to use it becareful and use some kind of mask, bentonite contains silica.
