So, I was away from the computer for a couple of days, and when I got back my birthday had come and gone (10/1), and I couldn't wait to read all the mushy BD greetings. Guess what, like Christmas morning at the Bundy's, nada, nothing, zilch. Somehow there were no other posting on 10/1 so I'll fool my broken heart into thinking all of my hundreds of messages must have been erased. Unlike Bruce, I only have one BD a year, so mark it on your calendar, and be ready next year
Just do it...

Happy Birthday! If Bruce can have two a year how about five for you? Or would that be too obvious? LOL
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

On our birthdays, it is our Mothers who deserve the special recognition and honor, not ourselves. But where do we then draw the line? Certainly our fathers played a part also. As did the medical personnel who assisted with our delivery. And we shouldn't forget the manufacturing sector....those folks who built the elevators, wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc. Maybe I should send a card to General Motors next April 21st, thanking them for the pivotal role they played in helping to bring me into this world. Chevrolet....like a rock, but soft enough for a baby's butt? Nah. It's much simpler to acknowledge the person celebrating the birthday, not the multitude that made it possible. Happy belated B-day RM. Sorry I missed it!!

Oh crap!!
At least we got to you on facebook!!!
Ah yes.....59 is such an innocent age.
Many of you don't know that rmedgar and myself are married. We tied the knot at the rental counter at the Charlotte Airport at the beginning of the Richmond Mills trip. Bastagees wanted to charge me a few hundred bucks more for adding rmedgar as a driver, so we got hitched.

I guess I would have married ewest first, but rmedgar was the first to the counter....

Yer holding on to them spark plug wires too long, Sparky.
It ain't the father, it's the MOTHER of the father. It ain't General Motors, It's the MOTHER of the guy what started General Motors. It ain't the guys what built the hospital, it's the MOTHERS of the guys what built the hospital. It ain't the doctor, it's the MOTHER of the doctor. EVERBODY HERE BECAUSE OF THE MOTHERS. It's them what bore the burden. THINK! THINK! Take it back as fer as you want to an it always gits back to the ones what bore the burden - THE MOTHERS! It be the MOTHERS! An the MOTHERS of the MOTHERS. Always the MOTHERS.

What you wish you could read on internet forums far more often:
I believe... In my opinion... I think that.. I look at it this way...
What is actually portrayed on internet forums far too often:
Always... Never... Absolutely... Positively...

I didn't even see it. Happy belated B'Day anyway.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

It's no coincidence that Spark Plug is shamelessly hijacking this Warm and Fuzzy Pond Boss Family Thread to take the part of the male in the procreating process.....after all, a HBG is a cross between a MALE GREEN SUNFISH and a female bluegill. Thought you could just sneak that one by me, didn't ya, Sparkie?? Oh and by the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANDY!

Randy, I projected my birthday wishes to you transcendentally , its not my fault if you couldn't perceive it.... Belated Happy Birthday the old fashion way! Tony, Really, hijacking a thread for selfish GSF promotion, for shame for shame....

Randy -- I can't imagine how all of us could have possibly missed it. After you started this thread, I even looked at your profile in the "moderator" mode wondering if maybe your birthday was selected to remain private, or if you hadn't entered your birthday. Nope. Everything was good.
Anyway, happy belated birthday.
Your alter-ego twin, Ken
P.S. Oh, and I didn't know that about you and Sunil. What a secret. Congratulations.

Happy Birthday - it stinks we all missed you on the day. I owe you a few beverages of your choice when our paths cross again, which can't be too soon, amigo.

Thanks, guys. As Sunil said, we declared our vows right there in front of a very confused employee at the car rental counter - take that Vegas! I think they were ready to agree to anything just to get us out of there. Since Eric witnessed it, Ken, I guess you've got a new brother-in-law.
Just do it...
