My local Wildlife & Fisheries agent went out and tested my water this week. He tested only the ph, DO and temp. PH was 7.6 on top and 7.7 on the bottom, the DO was 7 ppm, the DO is the one I'm not sure about. He said DO was good but I wonder what the acceptable range is. I plan on trying to stock my BG and minnow in about a week or so. If we can move the fish in the heat.
Thanks for any info

Different types of fish have different DO requirements. BG and FH will do fine at 7ppm. Did he take the DO reading on top or bottom of the pond and what time of day ?

ewest,
He didn't specify top or bottom for DO. As for test it was done around 5 or 6 pm. Also I haven't been there in a week and the areator has not been on.
