Chainsaw and stump/brush killer. If any are over 4-6" trunk diameter and leaves extend over water and the backside half of the dam, killing them may allow the rotting roots to create a leak... A tree's root system nearly mirrors the visible tree.

Thanks! They are on the from of the damn and it's think at they point. Also none are over 4" anyway but too big to just pull out with truck.

Cut with chainsaw, paint stump with Tordon RTU. Pour Tordon RTU in a can (coffee can will work) and use a cheap paintbrush to paint the cut portion of the stump. That'll do it without getting a lot of it all over everything.

Be sure to remove EVERY twig! The broken limbs will sprout roots if submerged!!!
