Cecil Baird1 Hall of Fame Lunker Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 20,043 Likes: 1 Northeastern Indiana	A rare "blue" variation of a yellow perch I mounted for a client a couple of months ago. It was caught in Maxinkuckee Lake in Marshall county Indiana. Note it does have some normal pigmentation on the lower flanks. Here is it next to a normal colored yellow perch not long after it was caught. Last edited by Cecil Baird1; 09/04/14 08:59 PM. EDIT: any chance that the lower fins were more red than Yellow? In Lake Onaping in Ontario we have caught some perch with red fins and blue like tops but never really gave it much thought till now.
