My sister died a couple of years from ALS. It is a nasty disease.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

My mom died of it this spring. 7 year long fight and well loved by everyone. Totally crap disease that needs to be squashed.
Waiting for a direct challenge so we can do something fun at my mom's grave site. She would appreciate it I'm sure. I think my friends are a bit shy of challenging my wife and I on Facebook knowing how hard it was on my family.

Sorry to hear that LS. It does sound awful and had never even heard of it till Bob made the challenge. Bob challenged the whole Pond Boss family on his facebook page. He should upload it here. We are still waiting on Bruce.

The wife and I were called out yesterday, so we're going to be doing it this evening.
A friend died a year ago from it and it was honestly one of the most devastating ways to go I've seen. His battle only lasted about a year. It eventually took every muscle he had, but his mind was very much aware of everything. Just terrible. The spike in donations for ALS research has been incredible since this challenge went viral. This morning, it was up 400% since before the challenge began.
