I have a new pond built this past Feb. '05. Some days there are alot of bubbles that I take for gases under the pond bottom. Is this normal? Sometimes the bubbling in one spot goes on for a considerable amount of time. Will adding more lime help. Since the bubbling is coming from the bottom can this cause my water to settle into the hole or is this why the gases are bubbling because the water is seeping further down? Any discussions on this will be most appreciated. Thanks, Robert Lewis.
