I hate to kill a fish, especially gut/gill hooked fish!
Caught a nice HSB last week on a single barbless hook and it went belly up - dumb me - didn't have my O2 live well Scott spoke about earlier. I worked her back and forth and she swam away but likely died from stress as Bill Cody mentioned.
100 degree daytime temps forecast for today - fishing season closed!
