Some RES would be okay to help control snails especially if eating some fish with out grubs is important. A good number to initially stock would be 30-50/acre - any available size. The redear sunfish would also help control chances of swimmers itch. Yellow perch do eat some of the thin shelled pond snails but not the snails with thicker shells that you cannot crush when pinched between your fingers.
