Al, I know a professional type in Nashville who I'm sure would be thrilled at the prospect of having another fish introduced into his pond.
Maybe a midnight fish drop to Nashville could be Rex's first haul with the new truck. That way, we could both be anonymous.
Absolutely brilliant. Rex gets to try out the new truck, you find a home for your fish, and a fellow pondmeister gets to experience the miracle that is hybridization, up close and personal. I'm very nearly choked up just from thinking about all the good that will be accomplished, by virtue of our selfless efforts.
Gentlemen,
Although I greatly appreciate your considered interest in my as yet unsullied operations, I regret to inform you that the possibility of your "assistance" has already occurred to me, and I have taken appropriate preemptive precautions. Presciently predicting that these efforts might be propagated through Rex, I have created an impenetrable defense. Composed of individual elements, once deployed each of these is permanently activated, becomes stronger over time, has an inexhaustible power supply, and requires no maintenance. Most importantly, each of these defensive units is specifically designed only to target Rex, and is safe to use even around small children.
Therefore, I would ask, out of consideration for my friend Rex and his well chronicled efforts to get back on the road, that you find another vehicle for your insidious endeavors.
