I finally got to the farm and finished building the dock. I built the initial part in late Feb, then on my mid March and Apr trips it was too wet, but by mid May it was doable. I added a 16� stationary gangway to connect to the shore, made from 2x8 PT with the same 5/4 PT decking as the rest of the dock. The shore end is anchored to 4x4�s set about 30� deep into concrete. Here are a few pics of the finished project, well, finished for now. And, I got it done before I needed EPA approval!
