Finally finished.

probably the last time I'll see it like this again.

It took over a year to complete. The photo shows about half of the pond. I have a new 6 inch well, with submersible pump that should do about 125 gallons per minute.

The pond itself is right at 2 acres.

How is there vacant land available for pond building in that venerable city, and are the watertable issues different in the land 'reclaimed from the sea'? How are the fish? Will there be ice over concerns?

Jason007 J Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 117 louisiana	It's full of water now. The water well works like a charm. It flows more than I expected. I think it's flowing more than 125gpm. I intend to take new photos soon. ps. I never put my location on the Internet. But I'm in the United States. Im paranoid about those kinda things. Anyway the pond is gorgeous. I have already added aqua shade and turned the water a teal blue. I still have a lot of work to do , planting grass and whatnot. It really turned out pretty. Stocked it with 1500 coppernose and 300 red ears, along with about 6000 fat head minnows. No bass yet.
