probably the last time I'll see it like this again.

It took over a year to complete. The photo shows about half of the pond. I have a new 6 inch well, with submersible pump that should do about 125 gallons per minute.

The pond itself is right at 2 acres.

Looks great! What are the stocking plans?

Bream,Largemouth bass.

I might try to throw 20 small mouth bass in there just to see if they make it.

Any updates on the pond or any new pictures? Where is the pond, truly in Amsterdam, the Netherlands? How is there vacant land available for pond building in that venerable city, and are the watertable issues different in the land 'reclaimed from the sea'?

How are the fish?
Will there be ice over concerns?

It's full of water now.
The water well works like a charm. It flows more than I expected.
I think it's flowing more than 125gpm.

I intend to take new photos soon.

Anyway the pond is gorgeous.
I have already added aqua shade and turned the water a teal blue.
I still have a lot of work to do , planting grass and whatnot.
It really turned out pretty.

Stocked it with 1500 coppernose and 300 red ears, along with about 6000 fat head minnows.

No bass yet.

Lets see... Coppernose and stumps in the water. Lousiana?
