I've posted on another string before the brown blobs decided to take over my entire pond. Water quality is pretty clear, but these blobs are everywhere! I think this brown algae is not harmful from what I've read, and my banks are well naturalized with plants. Problem is, its been a late spring and plants are just starting to emerge from dormancy. There are some frogs and water bugs in the water. I have a solar powered aerator running in the daytime... Is there anything I can do about this brown algae infestation? Have company coming on the long weekend and this is unsightly, not to mention unpleasant to swim in... Thanks in advance for the advice!
