Hey guys, Thanks for all the tips. I know for sure the hardy lilies will be fine but my concern was with the dwarf sag (sagittaria subluta). Anyways I'm taking the gamble since when I went to look at them the guy at the LFS said $50 for the whole tank full. I quit counting them after 200.
What a deal, I just hope they survive the winter, or until I plant them. It's still kind of cold to be planting, I should wait a few more weeks, but I have all these plants in a 5gal bucket with water. I put them outside every morning, and bring them in my garage every night. The garage is still cold, but at least they will protected in case we get frost again. Any advice on this? Should I wait a few more weeks or brave the cold water this weekend? Brrrr
To answer the question about the LMB, My goal is to have a pond that produces nice big bluegill. I'm thinking that one predator will keep the numbers down to prevent stunting, without creating a population of bass. Lucky bass will be monster in no time.
