Not with an external standipe and a sloping bottom in this particular tank along with a clarifer.

I can flush any settleable solids by pulling a gate valve on the standpipe line. And the clarifer tank along with a sponge on the small mag drive pump does a good job of filtering out suspended solids. The water overflows back to another tank which also has filtration. Each tank has it's own filtration although they share biofiltration.
