Thanks for the info. I spoke to the pond specialist at the soil cons. office and he cautioned me on copper sulfate. He is sending me info on muddy ponds in our area and advised that he was certain it is caused by negatively charged clay particles in the water. Will test for akalalinity and hardness. At that time we will add ag lime if needed then add alum to help with turbidity.(man, I almost sound like I know what I am talking about). I appreciate you preventing me from making a BIG mistake.
