In the past there has been discussion if yellow perch spawn is influenced by the moon phase. I don't think it is a main contributor. IMO main influences are water temperature and day length. In NW OH I have had YP eggs now for a week. More southern areas of the state and places like KY, TN, MO had YP eggs 3 to 4 weeks ago. Currently Apr 11 there is now a full moon. Those with YP pay attention to see if you are now getting noticeably more eggs ribbons.
