Brian, Regarding the hay, go to www.mdwfp.com/forums and scroll down to the "Mississippi Farm Pond Management" thread. The hay information is under a recent post by Raymond Johnson and a response by Dennis Reicke, a State Fisheries Biologist. I personally have no idea of whether it works. Dave
