I have a pond that approx 1.5 acres and is approx 11 feet deep when full. Im getting ready to stock it in may and will need some structure. Im just learning and am wondering if I can use some of the dead Hawthorn trees in the pond. I have no idea on if certain woods can be hazardous to fish or ponds?
I have some trees with branches that I can add blocks too and some big stumps and logs of trunks.
Im going to be planting LMB and BG and have a few CC in it already.
Im also thinking of some of the man made homer bucket PVC POLY pipe ones as well but since I have the trees, I thought I would ask. They are LONG TIME dead and some are even bleached out.
