From -15�F on Monday to +34�F and pretty heavy rain this afternoon. It's not supposed to dip below freezing until Sunday sometime.

I looked at my pond, and it looks like there are 2 spots where water is running into the pond through the ice, and the white snow on the pond is mostly blue and completely saturated with water.

I'll walk out on the pier and drill a hole before taking a step on the ice. The end of the pier is in 8' of water.
