Ok in the last few weeks we have had prize give aways on the forum setup by members. I won the last prize which was a subscription renewal thanks to lovnlivin and I want to pass this act of kindness on so I am buying the next round.
I have always noticed that there is a lot of guests browsing the forum compared to actual members so here's my challenge.
Step 1. Sign up to join the forum and introduce yourself or comment on this thread so I can put you in a draw for a subrscription to the magazine

Yeah I thought it might get some lurkers to join and maybe win a free subscription. I will extend this until the 12th Sunday at 8pm. I will try and keep bumping it to keep it active.

Ok you got me to come in from lurker status. Started reading threads on this site a couple weeks ago.
The wife and I will be buying a property to retire on later this year. One of my google searches located this site. We actually have 35 acres in Colorado with a couple small ponds (largest is 1/8 acre) but winter in Colorado at 9400 feet elevation isn't how the wife wants to retire.
So it looks like the search for a property will begin this summer in middle to eastern Tennessee. Lots more reading to do in the mean time.

First of all welcome to the forum. Good thing you found the forum before you build or buy your future pond. It will save you money and give you ideas you wouldn't have thought of.

I just joined today and really am impressed with the knowledge and sharing of information on this board. I am an active member of the BBC (bassboatcentral) forum and an avid bass fisherman. Living on a 240 acre private lake, I have quite a bit of interest in many of the current pond threads. Looking forward to sharing and receiving information for our pond/lake. Happy New Year to all!
