Did you follow the label instructions?
What was the product Copper Sulfate or Cutrine? They are different. CS in low alkalinity ponds can kill the fish as it stops their ability to uptake O2. Not the case with chelated copper products like Cutrine. It will kill your plankton bloom (food chain base) so be ready to deal with that if needed. Best of luck. I bet it is ok.
