Is this a question of limited growth, spawning, or that they just won't survive?
The USGS says they live in Western NY and up in Vermont. Not sure how well, but they do exist there.
The local fish farm doesn't have RES, but suggested stocking HBG instead. How well will this play with SMB already in the pond?
