In attempt to prevent and battle with golden algae I will be applying cutrine to my pond every 3 to 4 weeks during the cooler months. My question is should I use plus or ultra, I can save quite a bit of money on the plus if I order in bulk, but if the ultra is worth the money I might as well fork it over,
appreciate your help

I believe the difference is that the Ultra has the surfactant already mixed in. It's less expensive if you buy separately and mix it yourself. Ultra is a cost of convenience. Same copper content.

In attempt to prevent and battle with golden algae I will be applying cutrine to my pond every 3 to 4 weeks during the cooler months. Is that something I should be doing? Anybody chime in? I was not aware of treating algae in the dead of winter. And does anyone know if Cutrine Ultra comes in a granular form?

Ultra is not available in a granular form. Adding a surfactant to the Cutrine Plus will increase it's effectiveness, and possibly lower the amount that you need to control the algae.
