I looked at them and the ones they offer down here in Louisiana what they called "a modular home" looked like a double wide trailer with a
high roof to look like a regular home. The inside looked like it was better built and the finishes were better than a regular mobile home but the prices were so high we just went with a stick built home. When i think of a modular home i think 4 or 5 pieces to it and its built just like a regular home just put together on site. Down here they seem to be a high priced double wide with small upgrades to make you think your getting something your not.
