I use a boom I made from a piece of Stainless Steel pipe and attached a 30" wide "chain curtain" to that on bungee cords that drags the bottom around the edges of the ponds out to about 10 feet off the bank. I use a garden rake alot in the swimming areas to spread out gravel and groom the bottom.
