Brian, as shown in the post ML recommended the tilapia have been very effective in my pond a few miles NE of you. They are legal as far as I have found and no permit is required as of 2002 for stocking in outdoor ponds (I am assuming no legal responsibility) I located only 2 suppliers in within 100 miles and neither was sure if they would have fish of appropriate size available, no harm in checking again though.
