I raise tilapia in an aquaponics greenhouse. If we turned tilapia loose in a pond or anyplace else in Missouri, we would be in big trouble. They are considered invasive even though they die below 50 degrees. Maybe a big spring would stay above this temperature?? Be sure you check with state officials before letting the into a pond.
