Sorry for the poor pictures, I had my daughter with me when I spotted this yesterday. It appears to be some sort of lily. Any ideas? There is a gully on the north boundary (no inflow to pond though) that has what I think is white water lily in it. These do not have the split though.

The slope of the sides are 3:1 or steeper in most places with a few spots being 2:1. The depth ranges from 8' to 18' in various places.

Jump in there and pull them out by scooping up under the tubers with your hands if you don't want them. Get 'em when they are easy. My guess is they are native lilies, and you want to stay on top of them since they can get out of control.
