There are some years you might get a few to make it over the summer, if its milder weather. That's what happened with some of mine this year. You can stock FHM in early summer, let them spawn like crazy. Stock trout early October, and have a blast till springtime. Then start the cycle all over again. It seems like catching them can be hard on them. I noticed that warmer the water gets, the less likely they bounce back. Winter time was no problem. fiestier then too . --Jim
