All trout seem to be sensitive to being caught, they are the canary of the river so to speak. On my pond being partial ground water table, I should have also added that it is being fed by my geothermal heating/cooling discharge water. When it's really really hot, my geo runs a bunch and puts out about 7GPM. This seems to be enough to keep the water table stable thus far, of course, that could change.

I just got a new pond, I made it twice because I aint so bright.
