Removed a deer last year that was causing many problems for me the last couple of years...He was a very mature deer probably on the down slide...Field dressed at 267 after hanging for three days, so lost some water weight...
I watched this deer chase off several deer that where pushing or easily would have made B&C...The photo doesn't do him justice...I was by myself and was in a hurry to get him out of the woods.. He had a inside spread of almost 26" and would struggle to go mid 140"s...
Was the 1st deer in 10 years I shot with a gun and am as proud of it and any I have harvested...He always seemed to stay one step ahead of me...
