I put 150 Wallys 8-10 inch size in '97, the 5th year of the pond. Don't have a clue how many survived but never found a dead one. We didn't catch a single one until '01 so we assumed (yeah, I know) none of them made it past the Bass. They were 16-18 inches when we started catching them and only 2 or 3 a year and usually while Bass fishing. Most were returned to the pond as they did not have the habitat to reproduce in the pond, no inflow or out flow, no gravel beds, etc.
That is why I was surprised since the last ones, almost 2 years ago, were quite a bit larger. Maybe just a "runt", I don't know.

BTW- in '97 I paid $1.45 each for them but I'm sure they are more by now.
