looking for info on the use of clove oil to "sedate" fish..
after spending a little too long trying to catch tilapia in the swimming pool (i thought the crowding net would work, but it's definitely not a one man job!) i started looking for something that would make harvesting the fish a little easier.. and thought about sedation, and found some info about clove oil..
it looks fairly easy to use, but i really haven't found any info about how long it would take to "dissipate" if i used it in a pretty much closed system... i would shut the pump down when harvesting and drain as much water out of the pool as i could, into other tanks in the basement..
any experience with it?
