Thanks fish, my plan is to go 25 feet deep if I can, maybe even 30. I do plan on aeration to keep the pond from freezing over in the winter to avoid kills. Depth is really going to be dependent on what I hit as a I dig. That's good to hear that 1/2 acre is ok. I was concerned it would be to small but its about as much room as I have based on how the hill sits.
