i was able to make it back out today and look again. i was able to see the water coming up from inside the holl. i took a measurement from the water coming up to property line. i can move the dam back about 12 feet. i could put a new core in behind the spring. my question is this, about 4 foot of the front side of the dam will be over top of the spring. would that be ok seeing the spring would be on the front of the dam and the core behind the spring? i could divert the spring over to the new creek and it can flow through the new pipe
