Bring your swimsuit, Shorty. No problem, but just so you know I do plan on stuffing my swimsuit full of fresh milfoil, coontail, and curly leaf pond weed fragments right before I arrive. I'll make sure to shake it all loose before I get out of the water.  Did I mention that aquatic vegetation is some of the best "fish" habitat there is? You can thank me later.

I am hosting a Pond Boss Connect meeting at my house/lake/dock on the weekend of September 27th and 28th.
Show up, dammit!
Mr. Bob Lusk, the Pond Boss himself will be in attendance.
I have decided that the following rules apply.
1. Bring your sense of humor. Almost anything goes.
2. Absolutely NO discussion of pond weeds allowed. Fish only.
3. Alcohol encouraged.
4. Primary meeting at my place. TJ also hosting shuttle rides to his place for observation of giant hybrid striper feedings.
5. What happens at pond-a-palooza, STAYS at pond-a-palooza. Well, it is completely within the rules so long as I don't discuss what's stuffed inside my swimsuit. The waters going to chilly and I will need the extra insulation.

I'm going to check my vacation and if I have enough time left for this and Pond Con 6 I'm going to try to make it. I burn vacation quick working 32 hour weekends. Does anybody know for sure if Pond Con 6 is going to be at Big Cedar. I hope it is. That's only 2 and 1/2 hour drive speeding for me. Now to bring up visiting the in laws subtlety and choose this date. What a coincidence a Pond Boss gathering will be going on so close that weekend. Who thinks it will work? I just map quest it and its 2:40 from in laws house. They live in Bendena KS. Strait shot from there.

What hotels are close? I think a fyke net demonstration might be cool either at Bruce's or my place. I am only collecting verified Male CSBG. Yes, have john row boat, canoe, and kayak. We also have Josh, so why worry about boats - we can enjoy beers clean and dry from the luxury of Nate Herman's dock whilst Josh anchors the fyke in 16' water. He can don cinder blocks to help him decend more efficiently.

I have been meaning to video a demonstration of pellet fly VS stubby steve's at my dock for some time but never have a free hand. Maybe we could schedule that this Fall and send the video to Stacey, finally.

I think Josh/Omaha should attend dressed as the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz.
That would provide a better optic for when his feet get bound with cinder blocks.

It sure would be a great event to attend, but I never know what my schedule will be. I was supposed to have the day before esshup's gig off, that didn't happen. Then the following Monday, which almost worked, but had to go to a factory where everyone was freaking out because nooooo one paid attention to their training on how to operate a machine. Pretty simple, there is a Start button, and a Stop button. Pretty slick that they are color coded to boot  That day got counted as a vacation day tho Supposed to have tomorrow and then the following week off, but that's not gonna happen either
