Agree with Josh, you're probably too cold for TFS. They don't generally do well much north of I-40. That said, Southeastern Pond has experimented and promoted the HSB/Crp/TFS combination. Their initial stockings were successful, I'm not aware of any longer term follow up. If you're not going to feed, I'd think it pretty likely that your HSB and HCr could control shiners, I'd worry more about XS predation, as your GSH won't grow as fast as ours do down here.
How big a pond are you thinking? How much structure/cover?
