yes had it identified as duckweed. have used copper sulfate and reward. frog and tadpole population is very large. i only stocked small blue gills and they seem to be doing quite well. i also put a lot fat head minnows in their yesturday and they are eating the duckweed. no way they can control it but was surprised to see them eating it. thanks for your responses. we just moved in this home this past winter and love it. the pond is close to the house and want it to look its best paul
