Well I have been feeding my new catfish and along with them a couple monsters started coming up. Should I remove them? There are only 5 big ones but they are anywhere from 24-32in. They are very thick too. They are getting very aggressive with bluegill feeding. I put CC in but these cats are very dark blue, are they good eating and will they hurt my pond if I leave them?

I am assuming this is an older pond you just began managing?
These CC were probably stocked 10 or so years ago and are the remnants of those stockings. Depending on what the fish community is, I would probably try to remove them unless you like to watch them and want that surprise chance at a monster CC like them. They will be pellet hogs and will also eat a lot of forage that could be going to other fish in your pond...
