This past Saturday at work, I had to shoot a fox that was out in the middle of the day, unafraid of people and acting extremely strange. I shot it in the head and unfortunately, it began to convulse and threw bodily fluids onto me, to possibly include blood and brain matter.
Anyways, the fox was sent for testing and today I got the results. It was positive for rabies, so lucky me I get to go through the process of getting rabies shots. I gets shots on day 1, 3, 7 and 14. I am not looking forward to this at all. Has anyone else had the bad fortune of being exposed to rabies and have to go through this?
