Well i was just curious I stocked 20lbs of mixed and havent seen any small red ones yet but bunches of the others.

if mixed the natural color will be dominant I am prettry sure. You would need a red to breed to a red, even then you would get some natural colored ones I think.

I dropped about 30 rosy reds that I bought at a pet store in a one acre renovated pond in early May. There are now schools of them, still red, everywhere. Must be hundreds of thousands of little red fish.

when they first hatch, you can't see any coloring.... i couldn't anyways.. (in 55 gallon glass tanks) the babies looked clear to me
after they reached about 3/8" they started to show colors,, it took about 20 days for me to see the colors...

It's been my experience that even when stocking 100% rosey reds, within a year or so, 95-99% of them will have converted to natural coloration.
