Benji...take a look at the link below. Identify which type of cattail you have and then click on it and it rates which chems work best against that particular plant.

Here's another one. Click on the management link.

Zep I am right there with you on the CP Granules! They work and if done on time you don't even have to use the whole amount most times. I always play it a little safe and it clears it up fairly quick for sure!

I won't use anything else fron now on!

RC do you throw the Cutrine Plus granules out by hand and do you wear gloves? I throw them out by hand and have not been using gloves...but I probably should. I bought some stuff for Alligator Weed I am going to try (Renovate OTF) and it says you need to use gloves when throwing out the granules.

I used Cutrine Plus last year (liquid form) and it worked great. I have since stocked the pond and was told I should not use it if I have channel cat. Looking for solutions....

On Site Service.....I think I've heard that too about the channel cats and Cutrine Plus....I think trout as well.

However I have some channel cats and they seem fine post CutrinePlus applications....I suppose it varies from pond to pond and on dosage. Another thing is I don't eat fish out of my pond.

Yes sir, I read channel cat, trout, and Coy fish has to do with the copper. So as an alternative one company I spoke with was trying to sell me some "eco friendly" stuff for around 400 big ones.....WOW...I SAY WOW!

Zep I use a small grass spreader (hand held type) and get in my boat and let er rip and just kind of paddle around while spreading. It works good and get a good even spread.
