Hello All
I have recently put in the 3 station vertex air 3xl vbs unit.
I have 3 individual 4 disk stations, each at deepest point 18 foot ( lake is now 6.5 foot low) 12 foot, and 5 foot. I have the compressors up by my barn, and i have run about 40 foot of 1 inch pvc down to a box with the valves inline for the tubing to go out from.
When i start the system up, the compressors turn on, and the pressure goes to over 30, then the pressure release valve pops, and then the unit lets out air till the 20 on the gauge. I can see air from all 3 stations, but the unit is constantly leaking air from the pop - open valve. I have tried each station individually, and still it pops the pressure valve...
any thoughts?
thanks
Dustin

Pop off is bad I had same problem.. Possibly?
After rethinking this my pop-off was popping at 10-15lbs you might have other issues..

I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease.. BG. CSBG. LMB. HSB. RES.

Make sure the single main valve in the cabinet is at the 12 oclock position or all the way open. Then be sure on your remote valves that at least on (the deepest) is all the way open when you start it. If the pop off valve still opens and the gage goes to 30 there is a restriction some where else.If all 3 remote valves are all the way open (for this test)does it still do this, try it and let me know.

Thanks for the advice.
Somehow, I didn't see a main valve in the cabinet... i just remember the two lines from the individual compressors coming together into one line and that turned into one line that left the bottom of the cabinet. I will look tomorrow.

Ok I have fixed it!!!
It was simple...when i was putting the 1 inch pvc into place, I didnt check to find a small mouse in the line.. he was shot to the far manifold box, and there he met his demise. System working MUCH MUCH better now.
thanks for the advice

Yes the mouse is factory-installed and comes standard with every Vertex aerator. He must have come loose during shipping.
